So in part one I touched upon the more hyped up games that will be appearing on the new Xbox One, but there was a lot more on show. The four that were reviewed in the first part were ones that I was eager to get my hands on and did so with an already one sided opinion on what these games would be like, but there was a whole lot of other games that I was new to and was first introduced to at the event. I was quite surprised at the quality and gameplay of these games and it only further reinforced the notion of me purchasing an Xbox One in the near future. So lets get cracking into some of the lesser hyped games appearing on the Xbox One.

Below you will see the games that actually are able to push to the top of the fun list when it comes to next gen consoles, leaving graphics behind and focusing more on the players experience whilst playing to provide a very enjoyable experience. (more…)

The Xbox One World Tour has graced the emerald Isle for the weekend and lucky Xbox enthusiasts will be able to test out their favourite games before the official launch next week. I got to go to a special preview and got hands on with the Xbox One. I walk into the hall and there it was, the future of gaming, sitting there in front of me. I never would’ve thought that I would be able to get to play this console until sometime next year but there it was and the staff member hands me the controller and asks will I play him in a vs. match of the new Killer Instinct. How could I refuse!

This event was mainly showcasing the launch titles that the Xbox One has to offer and didn’t really touch on the hardware side of things. But I will say this, the controller feels so much better than the previous 360 pad. It feels lighter, more streamlined and fits to your hands so damn perfectly it’s insane. Eliminating the bulky battery back to make it lighter and giving the player more freedom to rest their fingers on the back of the controller was a great touch. I did feel that the bumper buttons (LB & RB) felt quite stiff at times and during a game of COD: Ghosts i really had to search for the buttons and press down very sharply to get them to throw the grenade. So Call of Duty: Ghosts is gonna be an estimated 40gb install when it released on the next gen consoles, whilst this seems to be the norm and doesnt deserve any adjective to really emphasis the size of the install then it’s quite the surprising to think that Fallout 2 had an option for a HUMONGOUS INSTALL!!!! It seems as though the people of Reddit have found an ingenious way to stop the people at Microsoft from allegdly spying on you using the Kinect Sensor on the new Xbox One.

Although this may not be a real thing that fact that somebody took the time to think up a way to hide themselves from the machine is still pretty hilarious. (more…)

The AVGN Adventures PC game was released today and it only seemed right that I featured it on the Akro Analysis. This game is great, simple but hard, challenging but rewarding and stuffed with more references than games on the AVGN’s shelf! I’ve been waiting months for this game and i think it should give me something to do whilst i wait for the film to come out. (more…)

So it has arrived, finally after months of snippets and teasers, deadlines and set backs we are finally graced with the behemoth of open world sandbox and what is set to be the greatest GTA ever to be released, but how does it actually live up to the hype?! Well read on and find out.

So here we are back in Los Santos and what an improvement it is! The first thing I have to say about the game is that it looks gorgeous, albeit some minor graphical errors but That’s nothing to be worried about, the game looks crisps and sharp and the cinematic cutscenes look like they’ve been taken out of a modern day motion picture! Although I am accustomed to the ultra graphics of PC games I will admit I was a little disappointed when I first saw the initial bank heist but about an hour into playing its starting to look pretty damn sexy! I go to a comic book shop on a regular basis, but what is just a humble nerdy vendor actually holds a lot more than you think. Down below the shop houses a mass of computers and video games, DVDs and projectors, nerd heaven basically. I became a member of this club sometime last year and one of the things that I was introduced to in this club was Warframe, or as the guys who run the place like to call it “Space Ninjas”. (more…)

Just when you thought you’ve seen it all something like this just pops up out of the woodwork! Seriously though I thought they went a little too far with Killer Condoms but now it seems that they are pushing the boundaries of stupid even more with this new teaser trailer for Squirrels!

All the Eco-activists out there will love this film as the plot synopsis tells us that the squirrels are pissed off because they cannot get any food due to the environmental destruction caused by a chemical company setting up in the city. (more…)
