Smart phones at the ready!

We all remember the craze that swept the iPhones of the majority of country last year, such a simple concept but with such an amazing response. You run…that’s basically it. I could almost imagine developers such as EPIC and Activision looking at workers on their breaks playing this game and thinking to themselves” How is this so addicting?!!” and to be honest I don’t know either, but it is!

The story alone is so simple, oh shit I robbed an artefact and now I’m being chased by some really pissed off monkey demons I better run! I know I’m dumbing it down and that there could be a true meaning behind what’s going on, but sadly I have not seen it…you just run!

But then it came to android and now I finally got a chance to play the elusive Temple Run, and against all odds…I didn’t like it. Now calm down I’m entitled to my opinion too, I didn’t see why people got so worked up over it, I guess it was the competition side of things that made it so popular, still didn’t work for me. But then I found out that there were a couple more games out there that took inspiration from Temple run but made it entirely different, here are just 5 of the games I found. A History of Horror

The horror genre has been one of the most popular genres in film since the beginning of the movie theatre. But modern horror has been taking a turn for the worse. Horror films today have been inclined to show more gore than actual horror and this has then made a new sub genre know as Gorno, or Gornography. Recently horror has begun to get popular again, with the release of “Sinister” and “Paranormal Activity 4” (Some may argue that’s not the case!). But horror was not always like this, let’s take a trip through the history of the horror genre and find out how it’s advanced since the black and white times of Nosferatu. Forums have been spammed with players complaining about serious freezing whilst playing in multiplayer matches, well Activision have released a patch to tackle  the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 system lock-ups some were experiencing on PlayStation 3.

Activision have stated that they are fully aware that people have been experiencing freezes even after they installed the patch and that they “are doing everything we can to get to the bottom of it as quickly as possible”.

To install the patch simply boot up Black Ops 2 and sign in to play online. It’ll sort itself out automatically. Simples!
