‘The Horrible Hunger of the Ravenous Wattle Gobbler’ that’s almost a big a mouthful as a slice of the granny’s pie in that screenshot. Not much is really known at the minute about when it will be released or what the storyline is but it certainly looks interesting and that pie really does look delicious!

Adam.

So in part one I touched upon the more hyped up games that will be appearing on the new Xbox One, but there was a lot more on show. The four that were reviewed in the first part were ones that I was eager to get my hands on and did so with an already one sided opinion on what these games would be like, but there was a whole lot of other games that I was new to and was first introduced to at the event. I was quite surprised at the quality and gameplay of these games and it only further reinforced the notion of me purchasing an Xbox One in the near future. So lets get cracking into some of the lesser hyped games appearing on the Xbox One.

Below you will see the games that actually are able to push to the top of the fun list when it comes to next gen consoles, leaving graphics behind and focusing more on the players experience whilst playing to provide a very enjoyable experience. (more…)

The Xbox One World Tour has graced the emerald Isle for the weekend and lucky Xbox enthusiasts will be able to test out their favourite games before the official launch next week. I got to go to a special preview and got hands on with the Xbox One. I walk into the hall and there it was, the future of gaming, sitting there in front of me. I never would’ve thought that I would be able to get to play this console until sometime next year but there it was and the staff member hands me the controller and asks will I play him in a vs. match of the new Killer Instinct. How could I refuse!

This event was mainly showcasing the launch titles that the Xbox One has to offer and didn’t really touch on the hardware side of things. But I will say this, the controller feels so much better than the previous 360 pad. It feels lighter, more streamlined and fits to your hands so damn perfectly it’s insane. Eliminating the bulky battery back to make it lighter and giving the player more freedom to rest their fingers on the back of the controller was a great touch. I did feel that the bumper buttons (LB & RB) felt quite stiff at times and during a game of COD: Ghosts i really had to search for the buttons and press down very sharply to get them to throw the grenade. It seems as thought the eagerly awaited Assassins Creed movie has been delayed until August 2015 according to a statement made by Fox to the Hollywood Reporter.

We all knew that Micheal Fassbender was taking up the role of the Assassin but which one is the question that keeps coming to my mind, who would he be best to portray? (more…)

So Call of Duty: Ghosts is gonna be an estimated 40gb install when it released on the next gen consoles, whilst this seems to be the norm and doesnt deserve any adjective to really emphasis the size of the install then it’s quite the surprising to think that Fallout 2 had an option for a HUMONGOUS INSTALL!!!! It seems as though the people of Reddit have found an ingenious way to stop the people at Microsoft from allegdly spying on you using the Kinect Sensor on the new Xbox One.

Although this may not be a real thing that fact that somebody took the time to think up a way to hide themselves from the machine is still pretty hilarious. (more…)

I’ve always wanted a copy of Battlefield 3 for the Pc for ages now, it always looked well on PC than Xbox but I was taken away at the price of it, €30 may seem cheap but for a game that’s been out that long I’d think they’d drop the price a little bit.

But today my dreams, and dreams of hundreds of thousands of gamers across the world have been answered! The Humble Bundle have issued their new Origin Bundle, one of the best bundles I have ever seen.

It offers Crysis 2 Maximum Edition, Mirror’s Edge, and Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box, Dead Space, Dead Space 3, and Medal of Honour: Warfighter as standard. But if you pay over the average, currently at around $5, you will get Battlefield 3 and The Sims 3 Starter Pack too.

So far the Humble Bundle has amassed over 1.2 million dollars in its first 2 hours and there is still 2 weeks to go, all proceeds are going to various charities in America. So what are you waiting for, go get some awesome games at an awesome price for an awesome cause!

We all love a bit of Retro gaming, but is it just me or are some of these classic games much more expensive than some newer titles?! I guess That’s because of their rarity and collectors values. But it seems as though Nintendo wants us to relive the old days at a low cost by releasing Super Metroid on the Wii U store for just 30p! (more…)
