Boy oh boy, didn’t think I’d be doing one of these again. I felt my first review ticked off MCM just a tad! A “tad” being enough to have them block us on social media and stop us from leaving comments on their posts. But that was a long time ago, they’ve changed right? Learned the error of their ways? Ironed out the kinks? Well, see below to find out! (more…)

Wow! It’s been a year already since I first experienced the joyous splendour of Eirtakon. And now there I was, at the doors of Croke Park, press pass in one hand and a notepad in the other, but just like any lively convention that I get the honour of attending I didn’t take many notes this year, nor did I even have the time to look at my phone for the majority of the weekend, why? But still that has more of an appeal for the majority of people nowadays!

I remember years ago there was a new show on Sky 1 here in Ireland and it’s soul purpose was to show off some mini gaming tournaments with local people joining as a team to battle in a vast array of popular titles and it was awesome! It aired on Christmas Eve of I remember correctly, the only reason I remember that was because I ran out of the room to watch it in the kitchen and felt kind of awkward because everyone was inside playing a board game while I was out in the kitchen screaming at a stranger for missing a combo in Soul Caliber!
