So I got the prestige edition of Black Ops 2 and decided to give the MQ-27 a try, with little success as the video above shows!

I am getting better, photos are down below and quick review coming soon, and by soon I mean tomorrow!

I got the care package too! I have been waiting for this for MONTHS! I really thought it was going to be awesome… It is pretty cool, however, it does seem a little on the cheap side. I paid an extra $100 just for the drone. I figured that it would at least be decent quality. I fly R/C heli’s all the time which is really what drew me to this package. I have 2 batt-op heli’s that are both fairly easy to fly once you get the trim correct and they will fly in ANY direction including 360 degree horizontal rotation. The MQ-27 drone only has 6 way directional flight, including up, down, forward, backward, left and right. Unfortunately it has no horizontal rotation. It also suffers from pretty unstable flight due to its own turbulence. I have been able to achieve long-term flight after playing with the quad trim controls for a while. All-in-all it is a pretty cool package. I do wish that they had provided a little higher quality product that would do more than just hover… A little maneuverability would have gone a long way! Was it worth the extra $100 for a model to set on the shelf and collect dust? Probably not, I was expecting a LOT more from Treyarch! BIG LET DOWN!
